The JQTH project is a four-year heritage-led regeneration grant scheme funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund in the heart of Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter. It aims to regenerate an area within the Jewellery Quarter’s ‘industrial middle’ through the repair and restoration of historic buildings and the delivery of events and activities for all.

Our role as Capital Programme Cost Consultant is to provide a review of draft tender documents, specifications/schedule of works, drawings, any other information provided including tendering proposals. We have been lucky to work on some wonderful projects over the past four years, and play a role in giving these buildings a new lease of life for future generations to enjoy.

Last week we visited 62-64 Albion Street, newly named as The Jointworks. The property has been converted into a new creative workspace that will accommodate over 100 people including designers, entrepreneurs, creatives and independent businesses, and will open in June 2022.

Take a look at the photos from our visit.
