In recognition of World Mental Health Day 2024, PMP Consultants dedicated an entire afternoon to fostering well-being with a special #teaandtalk event. At PMP, we understand that nurturing our mental health is essential for the care of our minds, bodies, and souls. This belief guided our decision to take a deliberate pause from our busy schedules, and provide an opportunity for our team to unwind, connect, and enjoy each other’s company. The afternoon was made even more delightful with some delicious cakes and pastries, thoughtfully sourced from a local coffee shop and therapy hub, grounded.
grounded. is more than a typical café; it stands as a community-focused well-being hub, offering inclusive and welcoming space for visitors. Here, individuals are encouraged not only to enjoy a comforting cup of coffee but also to openly engage in conversations about all aspects of mental health. What makes grounded. even more remarkable is its impactful partnership with EVOLVE – a pioneering social enterprise that is committed to providing well-paid, meaningful employment and vital training opportunities to young people who have been affected by social issues. This initiative goes far beyond just offering jobs; it empowers individuals facing social hardship to actively build long-term, sustainable, and positive change into their lives.
Our #teaandtalk event was more than just a pleasant afternoon; it was a firm statement of our collective commitment to a crucial cause. We firmly believe it’s time to break the stigma surrounding mental health conversations. It’s imperative that we actively work to spread awareness about mental health challenges and, most importantly, support each other in our journeys. We aim to encourage everyone in our team and wider network to share their stories. Your experiences can provide comfort, understanding, and strength to those who may be struggling in silence. Similarly, make an effort to offer a listening ear to those around you. Sometimes, simply knowing that someone is there to listen, without judgment, can make a big difference.
We are dedicated to fostering an environment where mental health is not just acknowledged, but prioritised. Our collective efforts, both individually and as a company, contribute to creating a world where well-being is at the forefront of our actions, helping people to feel supported and valued. Let’s break the stigma on mental health!
